I'm currently reading Memoirs of a Geisha and Reading "Lolita" in Tehran (only with a much more beautiful cover). I guess along with The Kite Runner I've read recently it makes for a bit of a theme.
Both of the books I'm reading right now are just...so beautiful. Written so well. Especially Reading "Lolita"..., it's just written with a kind of...calmness to it. I get the sense of a person sitting down with a cup of tea, taking their time telling you their life story. I'm...kind of enchanted.
